When traveling within Canada, this plan provides coverage for unlimited number of days. When traveling outside Canada, this plan provides coverage for the first 15, 30 or 60 days of each trip, depending on the plan you choose. The 15, 30 or 60 days begin counting when you depart Canada.
For trips longer than 15, 30 or 60 days, Top-up rates are available and must be purchased prior to your trip departure or prior to the end of your 15, 30 or 60 days.
Plan two: Daily plan
Daily plan coverage is ideal for infrequent travellers. It may be right for you if you are taking a single trip outside Canada for a specific length of time. Coverage under Plan One and Plan Two is available for up to 365 days, provided that you get confirmation from your Government Health Insurance Plan that your coverage is valid for the full period that you are out of province.
