AMA Travel in Edmonton’s Kingsway and Southside locations and Calgary’s Crowfoot location now host Foreign Currency ATMs. Debit directly from your bank account or via credit card; these ATMs offer U.S. Dollars, British Pounds, the Euro as well as Canadian Dollars at a low transaction fee of $1.50CAD; applicable credit card fees.

Foreign Currency ATMs offer current and competitive exchange rates and self-service convenience. ATMs are available during Centre hours to both AMA members and non-members.

MasterCard Cash Passport™ is a plastic alternative to traveller's cheques!

The MasterCard Cash Passport™ is a chip- and PIN-protected reloadable prepaid card that is a smarter and more convenient way to carry your spending money with you while travelling. 

This card can be used to withdraw cash at MasterCard ATMs and merchants worldwide who accept MasterCard.

Visa TravelMoney Cash Passport

Effective April 25, 2012, AMA is no longer selling this product. However, AMA continues to support all active cards until they expire. We encourage cardholders to visit their nearest AMA Travel centre to convert to a new MasterCard Cash Passport™.

Just prepay the amount you need, based on that day's exchange rate, and we will do our best to have the currency sent to us—within 48 hours in most cases. Now you won't have to search for an ATM or a money exchange centre as soon as you arrive at your destination. You'll be prepared with the correct currency in hand, ordered conveniently through AMA.
