Imagine yourself on the deck of a 92-foot schooner as she winds her way through the Gulf Islands. Travel with a small group as you intimately explore one of the most beautiful places on the BC coast with your expert crew, naturalist and chef. There is no better way to celebrate the return of spring than sailing among these eclectic islands. While the rest of the North is still clothed in a blanket of winter, the Gulf Islands burst with life, from the green flames of new growth to meadows of bright flowers and the exuberant, noisy clamour of seals, whales and birds flocking around millions of spawning herring.

Highlights:

  • 6 days sailing and 5 nights accommodation
  • Seabird island visit
  • Saturna Island – morning hike and forest ecology learning
  • Beachcombing a remote island and sea lion haul out
  • Village visit
  • Sail Georgia Strait
  • Walk to visit Canada’s largest arbutus and Garry Oak meadows
  • First Nations shell middens
  • Evening kayaking
  • All meals and wine with dinner

Note: This is a sample of the highlights you may experience.  They may vary depending on the interests of the guests, and the actions of weather and wildlife.
