| Area Comment: The Klondyke Ferry which carries Highway 661 traffic over the Athabasca River is open and operates from 6:30 a m to 11:30 p m daily. | Area Comment: Until August 2012 expect minor delays due to bridge construction at the Thickwood and Confederation interchanges in Fort McMurray. Just north of Confederation Way there will be left and right turn and service road construction till September 30th, speed limit will be 50 kilometers. Until October, 2011 expect minor and major delays on Highway 63 between north of Wandering River and south of House River for clearing and grading construction. | Area Comment: Until October 1st, eastbound and westbound traffic on Highway 43 between Wembley and Beaverlodge will be moved temporarily to the newly constructed lanes, motorists should obey all signs, message boards and flag people. Until October 15th expect minor delays because of speed reduction on Highway 727 between Highway 49 and Highway 680. Until September 30th there will be bridge construction over the Saddle River Bridge on Highway 731. Traffic will be reduced to single lane, 24 hours a day. Speed will be set at 50 kilometre's an hour. | Area Comment: Until October 15 watch for speed reductions signs on highway 58 over West Sousa Creek, west of High Level. Speed reduction is for bridge construction. The Tompkins Landing Ferry is open and is operating 24 hours a day. Until October 15 there will be minor delays on Highway 58, between the Sixth Meridan and south of Negus River for clearing,grading, paving and culvert replacement. Construction will occur over a 15 kilometres distance. Until September 30, 2011 expect minor delays on Highway 743 south east of Deadwood. Traffic lights will be in use at site. Until October 15th expect minor delays on Highway 88 between south of the Tall Cree First Nations and south of Fort Vermilion. | Area Comment: As of August 12th the Shaftsbury Ferry located south of Peace River on Highway 740 has been restricted to light weight vehicles until further notice. The Lacrete Ferry located south of High Level on Highway 697 has been closed until further notice due to low water levels. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes on Highway 35, 58 or 88.
