Grande Prairie & Area
Area Comment: Until February 20, the speed on Highway 40 over the Big Mountain Creek, south of Grande Prairie will be reduced to 80 km/hr, because of bridge culvert rehabilitation. Until August 31, 2012 expect minor delays on Highway 6 80, between highway 7 25 and 727 near Spirit River, due to bridge culvert replacement. The Speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h. Twinning construction is underway on Highway 43, west of Valleyview and the speed limit is reduced to 80 km/hr, through Sturgeon Lake Nation Reserve until further notice.
