Duplicate vehicle registration

It happens. Your vehicle registration has gone missing.

Perhaps you keep your registration in your wallet, and then left your wallet on the roof of your car and drove away. Or, maybe you keep it in your glovebox and your vehicle has been stolen.

Whatever the situation, we can help you get it back. Visit us at any AMA Registry centre and we can issue you a duplicate copy.

While you're at it, protect yourself with these identity theft prevention tips.

What you need to apply for a duplicate registration

Why not also renew your vehicle registration for another year?

Depending on your current expiry date, you may have the option to extend the term of your registration.

You pay the renewal fee of $84.45, but receive an additional 12 months and save on the duplication fee of $22.45. A copy of your current Alberta liability insurance (pink card) will be required.

In order to request a duplicate of your vehicle registration, you must be a member in good standing with the AMA, CAA, or AAA. Not a member? Join AMA now.
