What you need to renew your driver's licence

  • Your old driver's licence.
  • Your AMA membership card. 
  • Renewal form (optional)
  • If your licence term is based on a legal presence document such as a work permit, study permit, etc. you must produce an original copy of this document. The permit must be valid for at least 90 days from the date of service.

A completed medical examination form is required:

  • For class 1, 2, or 4 driver's licences.
  • If you are 75-years-old or older. 
  • If you have a medical condition that could affect your ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
