Birth certificates

Whether you are celebrating the arrival of a new addition to the family or simply wish to replace your Alberta birth certificate, we can help you with the paperwork.

Alberta has two types of birth certificates:

  1. Birth certificate with personal information.

  2. Birth certificate with personal and parentage information.
This certificate contains the names and birthplaces of the parents. When there is only one parent listed on the Registration of Birth, only that parent and their information will appear.
