What kind of membership suits you?

Deciding what membership is best for you can be a difficult decision. We've tried to make it a little easier.

If any of the statements below describe you, it can help you decide what kind of AMA membership you need.

 

A Basic membership would best suit you if:

• You usually drive near your home, or only use your vehicle to run errands.
• Your daily commute is shorter than 5 kilometres.
• When you go camping, you sleep in a tent.

The reason: A Basic membership provides peace of mind and a sense of security. The AMA Roadside Assistance™ portion of the Basic membership covers you for five service calls per year at a towing distance of 5 km in any direction, or back to the closest service provider’s base of origin. Since you prefer to sleep in a tent, you’re vehicle (or any vehicle you’re a passenger in) is covered for towing and winching/extrication with no worries.

 

 

 

A CAA Plus membership would best suit you if:

• You have a preferred mechanic.
• You often go for long drives.
• You’re planning a road trip
• The only two seasons in your life are motorcycle season and waiting-for-motorcycle season.
• You live in a rural area.

The reason: A CAA Plus membership provides added flexibility. The AMA Roadside Assistance™ portion of the CAA Plus® membership covers you for five service calls per year at a towing distance of 160 km in any direction or back to the closest service provider’s base of origin allowing you to be towed to your preferred mechanic without any worries. In addition to the 160 km of towing that comes with the CAA Plus membership level, members have:

• Access of up to $600 in trip collision reimbursement
• Free emergency fuel and delivery
• Up to $100 in vehicle locksmith services

If you’re an avid motorcycle rider/passenger, CAA Plus is the membership level you need as it provides coverage for motorcycles.

 

 

 

A CAA Plus RV membership would best suit you if:

• You travel with a camper, trailer or motorhome.
• You tow ATVs, boats or utility trailers.

The reason: CAA Plus RV includes no weight restrictions on non-commercial trailers (dual wheels included) including boat and ATV trailers by providing a second person and truck (if necessary) for towing and winching/extrication.
