Boat and watercraft insurance

 

If you own a boat or other type of watercraft, make sure you know what your current insurance policy covers. Your homeowner coverage will most likely carry good general coverage for your boat or watercraft, but if you have a higher value boat, you may want to consider purchasing additional insurance coverage (referred to as a floater).
