Hitting the back roads on your ATV is a favorite summer activity for many and it is important to make sure you have the right coverage.

What coverage is available?

Your home insurance policy does not cover ATVs or other seasonal vehicles such as dirt bikes. To protect these items, you need to purchase an auto insurance policy.

In fact, if you plan on using the vehicle on any public roads, you must purchase valid auto liability insurance which can be added to your existing auto policy and you can purchase additional coverage to protect against physical damage to the vehicle.
