AMA Fleet Safety, offers eight online courses for your employees to challenge and improve their driving knowledge and skills.
Fleet managers can assign multiple courses to multiple drivers and track their progress. Employees can complete the online courses when it's convenient for them.

This is a 6.5-hour course providing drivers with a greater awareness of the causes and consequences of unsafe driving. It features seven interactive modules that can be completed individually or together in one study session.
This interactive media course explores:
Drivers will be presented with information on risk management as well as proactive strategies when driving a vehicle. A final multiple choice knowledge test is written at the end of the course.
A Course Completion Certificate for online courses will be mailed to each individual. Please note these certificates are not available for pick up at AMA Centres. Alberta Transportation regulations require final exams are limited to two attempts to receive a Course Completion Certificate. Participants unsuccessful after two attempts are required to obtain further formal education and training.
This course is certified by Alberta Transportation and provides successful course participants with the opportunity to have three demerits removed from their driver abstract. For more information on Demerit Reduction please go to http://www.transportation.alberta.ca/2172.htm

Learn a practical, common sense approach to the skills and cautions involved in backing a vehicle. The course explores a driver's normal environment for typical hazards when parking and backing. It then builds a collection of strategies for avoiding the hazards or for coping with them when they are encountered.
This course covers topics such as vehicle inspection, using a spotter, parking, doing a safe turn around in a rural area as it relates to backing the vehicle. Drivers will be presented with information on risk management as well as proactive strategies when backing a vehicle.

The proactive defensive driver improvement course provides drivers with a greater awareness of the causes and consequences of unsafe driving as they pertain to their daily driving activities.
The course explores a driver's normal driving environment for:

This course covers topics such as the SIPDE system as it relates to specific driving environments. Drivers will be presented with information on risk management, vehicle and environmental hazards, as well as strategies to read the driving environment.

This video-based test uses participant interaction to assess driving performance issues.
