Fleet - Driver Evaluation

AMA Fleet Safety Student with Instructor in Truck

Parts of the Evaluation

Current or prospective vehicle operators are assessed through our evaluation tools:

  • General knowledge test of traffic safety
  • Psychophysical test for static visual acuity
  • Road evaluation in urban, rural or combined setting
  • Attitudinal assessment

Evaluation Overview

This evaluation is an objective assessment and is provided by a neutral third party. It can help company drivers by preventing vehicle abuse and reducing collision losses.

A written report on each driver, including an assessment of overall risk and cost factors from driver-induced vehicle wear is completed. The feedback is a powerful tool for supervisors or management follow-up.

The evaluation can be conducted at or near a worksite, or at an AMA Centre, and can take place in a company or AMA vehicle.
