
This course is 6.5-hours providing drivers with a greater awareness of the causes and consequences of unsafe driving. It features seven interactive modules that can be completed individually or together in one study session.

A Course Completion Certificate for online courses will be mailed to each individual. Please note these certificates are not available for pick up at AMA Centres. Alberta Transportation regulations require final exams are limited to two attempts to receive a Course Completion Certificate. Participants unsuccessful after two attempts are required to obtain further formal education and training. |

This course, targeted at professional drivers who spend a lot of time on the roads, aims to impart a greater awareness of the causes and consequences of unsafe driving practices. The course explores a driver's day-to-day driving environment for:
It then builds a collection of strategies for avoiding the hazards or for coping with them when they are encountered. Topics such as the SIPDE system as it relates to specific driving environments are covered. Drivers will be presented with information on risk management, vehicle and environmental hazards, as well as strategies to read the driving environment. |
