Renew your driver's licence

When you come in person to any AMA centre, remember to bring:

A completed medical examination formpdf is required:

  • For class 1, 2, or 4 driver's licences.
  • If you are 75-years-old or older.
  • If you have a medical condition that could interfere with your ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.

You require proof of Alberta residency and Canadian citizenship or immigration documentation if  you are exchanging an out-of-province driver's licence for an Alberta driver's licence
