Registration services have expanded across the province for Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan (AHCIP) coverage.
Enhanced member service
Currently, seven AMA centres are participating in a pilot project offering AHCIP registration services free of charge to AMA members.
Members can now come into one of the participating centres and register for health care or update their personal registration information.
Previously, this service was only available through two service centres in Calgary and Edmonton, operated by Alberta Health & Wellness. Both front counter locations closed on March 31. 2009.

- Dependent Reinstatements
- Non-group Blue Cross
- Registration Reinstatements
- Address Change
- Name Change
