One in ten Albertans will lose a credit card this year. AMA's Charge Guard credit card registry offers credit card protection for you in the event of credit card loss or theft. While similar protection would cost you as much as $25 with another organization, we extend Charge Guard protection as an exclusive benefit to our members at no cost!
You can be held responsible for unauthorized purchases if lost or stolen cards are used before credit companies are notified of your loss. The Charge Guard service helps you limit or eliminate your liability in the event of theft.
Credit Card Protection
 Register your credit cards , and if they are ever lost or stolen, AMA will notify all your card companies immediately. Once they have been notified, you are no longer liable for unauthorized purchases. You can also request a form when visiting your nearest AMA centre.

Ensure your application form is signed, as AMA requires your signature on file as authorization, should the need arise to cancel your credit cards on your behalf.
