Here are some simple tips to protect your vehicle and possessions from thieves.

• Park in a well-lit, well-traveled area.
• Keep gifts and valuables in your trunk and out of sight.
• Lock your vehicle and use a steering wheel lock, available at any AMA centre.
• Never leave your keys in a running vehicle, even if you’re just making a quick stop.
• During shopping marathons, utilize parcel check services or place presents in the trunk and then move your vehicle to a new location.
• Place an All Valuables Removed placard in the window of your vehicle.
